How to Choose a Hotel Linen Supplier in India
A hotel linen supplier must deliver the same quality every time. Here is what hotels and importers should check.

Hotel linen is a repeat purchase. Rooms must look the same whether the sheets were bought this year or two years ago, so consistency matters as much as the first sample. Here is what to check when you choose a hotel linen supplier in India.
1. Specification control
The supplier should quote against your written specification: fibre, thread count, weave, size, colour, GSM for towels and any dobby border or logo. Read Percale vs sateen vs satin-stripe.
2. Full range
Buying bedsheets, duvet and pillow covers, towels, bath linen and blankets from one supplier keeps whites matching and simplifies ordering.
3. Samples and reference
Approve samples, wash them as your laundry would, and keep one sealed sample as the reference for every future order.
4. Laundry performance
Ask how the fabric performs after repeated industrial washing: shrinkage, colour and strength. Poly-cotton is often chosen for heavy laundry cycles.
5. Packing
Linen should be packed by item and size, with clear carton labels, so housekeeping can store it easily.
6. Lead time and repeat orders
Ask the lead time for first orders and for repeats. Plan replacements with par levels.
7. Documents for export
Importers should confirm the supplier’s IEC, Incoterms and documents. See our importer checklist.
